HCC CODER POSITION
(PERMANENT WFH)
Overview
This is a full-time HCC Coder position with Permanent Work from Home Opportunity. The Coder performs review of medical records abstracting HCC-codes following ICD-10 Official Guidelines and Client Specific Guidelines. The Coder performs abstraction for the following projects including but not limited to– Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid.
Role Responsibilities
- Review & code patient medical records based on client specific guidelines & ICD-10 official guidelines for the project.
- Follow & maintain current knowledge of ICD-10 codes, Coding Clinics, updates, and regulations for accurate ICD-10 CM code abstraction.
- Maintain minimum quality standard of 95% accuracy or higher
- Maintain productivity standards based on project requirements.
- Must comply with HIPAA compliance and maintain highest level of confidentiality.

Role Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Core HCC Coding experience- Medicare recommended.
- Strong experience on HCC and complete code capture Projects
- Certification will be considered an added advantage.
- Tech savviness and comfortable with adaptation to new technologies and software’s.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Should be able to join immediately.
- Should have own laptop or computer(Minimum specifications should be met) with highspeed broadband facility.
